Trump's 'torture' talk downplayed by Foreign Policy advisor

Walid Phares, one of Donald Trump's foreign-policy advisers, said the Republican front-runner is only talking about torturing terrorists because "we are in a political season." Phares said he doesn't believe a Trump administration would resort to such techniques. The conversation about torture comes in the wake of the terrorist attacks that struck Brussels. After the attacks, the New York billionaire suggested harsh interrogation techniques, including torture, could have prevented the terrorists from carrying out the attack. 31 are dead and more than 270 are injured when a series of explosions rocked the Belgium capital of Brussels. Phares, a counterterrorism expert and Fox News contributor, said "This is a reaction to a very complex and difficult and challenging situation."
